Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Eurasian cafe. The varity of the Eurasian dishes brought back memories of my childhood. The combination of spices and fresh ingredients created a harmonious balance of flavours that was both comforting and satisfying. The Mutton Ketumba, Fish Pimante, Baked Otak Otak and Pineapple Prawn Curry were all cooked to perfection and reflected the rich heritage of Portuguese and Asian influence. The Fried Brinjal was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The dessert Sago Sago was equally impressive offering a perfect blend of sweetness and richnessthat made it impossible to stop till the bowl was empty. If you're looking for Eurasian Portuguese cuisine this cafe is a must try

Food was pretty homey! Not many options on the menu though. The fried aubergine was SO crispy and so good. Devil curry and Pineapple curry was quite ordinary. The omelette cincalok was also soso but was crispy! Portion isn’t that huge.

Simple, authentic & incredibly delicious, home-cooked Eurasian fare. Tis' tough to choose as there is only so much space available in one's tummy! But my must haves' each time are the heaven-inducing mutton ketumbar, the fried brinjal, steamed okra / lady's fingers with sambal... & if there is any left that day, their sugee cake. If that (cake) is not available, I recommend their sago gula melaka with ice cream. Not so sweet as they drizzle the ori stuff. So it's just the right sweetness.

This Eurasian restaurant provided an amazing dining experience. The curry Seku and keluark were delicious, the prawn curry with pineapple had a perfect sweet and sour balance, and the fried Brinjal was crispy and tasty. The standout was the sugee cake, which was the best dessert ever! Service was fast, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend and would come back!

Good food & ambient, delicious tenggiri fish curry. The service was attentive, and the overall experience left me eager to return and explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for a spot that combines homey comfort with a modern twist, kumi is definitely worth a visit!

We went to Kumi which was nearby to where we were staying fur our last meal before returning back to Brisbane. It’s Eurasian food with its roots from Malacca. We had the baked otak otak, the curry keluak, a cincalok omelette, sambal okra and fried brinjal. All the dishes were enjoyable and great value!

Been here many times! Love their food;it is always the same taste! If you like spicy,go for their Mutton! If you like unique taste, try their keluak curry,is the best! Fried Brinjal has the perfect crunch! Omelette both plain or cincalok is equally good. Their Otak-otak is good too! Not forgetting dessert! Sago gula Melaka,Sugee cake is just awesome!

This cafe sells Malacca Portugese food. Expect chilli in all your dishes. The place is located at Damansara Heights, the parking is limited. The location is nearby housing areas. It’s 5 mins away from DC Mall. Expect traffic during school hours. The restaurant is like a normal restaurant, it’s not well decorated like other cafes. It’s like a normal restaurant, but since it’s at Damansara Heights expect the price to be on the higher side. The sell authentic Eurasian food, it’s like a homecooked meal. They serve rice with acar sayur (cucumber, onion etc) My fav is the Mutton Ketumbar, Otak otak is not like the typical otak otak. Fresh otak otak using fresh fish. (Not like Terengganu otak otak) The brinjal is sweet and jives well with the dishes. The dishes are quite spicy especially the Mutton. The potatoes in the dishes were good, soft and crunchy (outer layer) at the same time. The Ayam Keluak was a bit weird, and i couldnt get the fruit out from the shell. You should get the sago gula melaka, it helps to diminish the spicy taste! It’s good for my liking. Perhaps, if you go, dont take all with the chilli based, get 1 non spicy dish. But the brinjal is a must.
